Ben Leo
CEO & Co-Founder
Ben Leo is the CEO and Co-Founder of Fraym. Previously, he served at the U.S. Treasury Department and at the White House where he advised the President on central, eastern, and southern African nations and helped to architect several major U.S. government initiatives, including the Multilateral Debt Relief Initiative and the advance market commitment (AMC) for a pneumococcal vaccine. He is a recognized expert in geostatistics, development policy, and African economic and security issues. Prior to Fraym, Leo served as a Senior Fellow at the Center for Global Development. His work focused on the intersection of survey methods, high frequency data, and public policy research. This included research that contributed directly to the Electrify Africa Act of 2016 and the BUILD Act of 2018. Leo has produced over 30 research publications and his work has been cited in numerous major media outlets such as the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times, Forbes, and USA Today.
Leticia Richard
Vice President, Operations
Leticia heads Fraym’s operations and talent development. Originally from Madagascar, she started her career in Paris where she became an expert in building scalable company cultures. Before Fraym, she was the Chief Operating Officer for Europe and North America at forMetris, a data and analytics company that specialized in learning measurement. Prior to forMetris, Leticia managed the European sales and marketing operations for Zend Technologies.
Rob Morello
Chief Analytics Officer & Co-Founder
Rob Morello is a Co-Founder and Chief Analytics Officer at Fraym. He has pioneered Fraym’s technology that enables decision-makers to zoom into any community in the world to learn its demographics, socioeconomics, behaviors, and attitudes. Rob is an expert in surveys, with over a decade of experience conducting surveys in dozens of countries. He is also an expert in using data to drive decision-making in the private and public sectors, and has worked with a variety of organizations including the Department of Defense, USAID, NBA, and Mastercard. Rob has worked on projects in over 50 countries, including every country in Africa and most countries in Asia-Pacific. He earned Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
Dustin Homer
Chief Growth Officer
Dustin is Chief Growth Officer at Fraym. He leads the go-to-market team and works with partners across industries to apply Fraym’s novel population data to critical intelligence, policy, or business questions. Dustin has worked extensively in 20+ countries in Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean, and has deep experience in survey methodology and design, impact evaluation, geospatial analysis and visualization. He has worked in the global development community, the global security space, and with a number of private sector companies in energy, investment, and consumer goods. Prior to Fraym, Dustin led partnerships and growth at Development Gateway, managed impact evaluations at Social Impact, and founded a community development NGO in Haiti. He has degrees from Brigham Young University and Johns Hopkins University.
Swetha Ramaswamy
Vice President, Data Science
Swetha Ramaswamy is the Vice President of Data Science at Fraym, where she leads Fraym’s efforts to build replicable, scalable, and validated machine learning algorithms as well as the necessary data infrastructure to deliver models and their insights at scale. Swetha earned advanced degrees with a focus on Data Science and Remote Sensing Technology at Columbia University. Prior to Fraym, Swetha worked with the Africa Soil Information Service, a Gates Foundation project, where she applied remote sensing to digitally map soil and cropland in Africa. This intimate knowledge of biophysical data has proved essential to Fraym’s machine learning algorithms, which largely pull on remotely sensed data such as these to identify relationships between people, events, and location.
Abhishek Maity
Vice President, Innovation
Abhishek Maity is the Vice President of Product Innovation at Fraym, bringing with him experience in geospatial and economic analysis. In this role, he leads the product development team, specializing in innovating new data products and delivery methods. ‘Maity’, previously served as Fraym’s Analytics Team Lead, helping customers devise strategies across the African and Asian continents. Maity previously worked at a leading energy consulting firm specializing in global wholesale electricity and carbon markets. Maity has an MA in Development Economics and International Business from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University and degrees in Operational Research from the London School of Economics, and Mathematics and Economics from Hamilton College.
Melissa Persaud
Vice President, Growth
Melissa Persaud is the Vice President of Growth at Fraym. In this role, she works with partners to leverage geospatial data to design, layer, monitor, and evaluate programs globally. Melissa has years of experience in mobile messaging and data collection across sectors and a general passion for technology in development. Melissa holds a Master’s in Public Administration – Development Practice from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College. Melissa is also a returned Peace Corps volunteer (Cameroon) and is fluent in French.
Carmen Tedesco
Director, Analytics
Carmen Tedesco is the Director of Analytics at Fraym. Carmen works with clients and partners to provide thought leadership on project design, serving as a data analytics translator to match data science capabilities with client needs to help derive insights. She has over 15 years of experience applying geospatial solutions to challenges in global development. Prior to Fraym, Carmen spent a decade as a global practice manager with DAI, identifying project geospatial needs, assessing capacity, and implementing spatial solutions to improve project impacts. Carmen has a MA in Geography from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign and a BA in Geography from Middlebury College.

Bobby Pittman
Chairman & Co-Founder
Bobby is the managing partner at Kupanda Capital, an investment platform established to create, capitalize and scale pan-African companies. Prior to Kupanda Capital, Bobby was Vice President of Infrastructure, Private Sector and Regional Integration at the African Development Bank (AfDB). There he managed one of the largest portfolios in Africa, including more than $25 billion in active projects across 52 African countries. Bobby previously held senior positions at several U.S. government agencies, including the Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Council, Treasury Department, State Department and White House.
Queen Nworisara-Quinn
Board Member & Co-Founder
Queen has worked to co-found and build several new companies and ventures, including Fraym and Nithio, an energy finance platform for the off grid solar sector in Africa. She has worked on deals in various sectors across Africa, including media, consumer, industrials, and energy. While at the African Development Bank she contributed to the effective implementation of key decisions and strategy to manage a US$25 billion portfolio of public and private sector investments. Queen has worked to provide tailored advice and support to entrepreneurs, project developers, fund managers and corporations operating in Africa.
Linda Oramasionwu
General Counsel
Linda has worked to co-found, build and provide legal guidance to several new companies and joint ventures. She provides strategic legal guidance on matters impacting Fraym, and partners with the Company’s senior executives for all corporate transactions, contracts, intellectual property and corporate governance matters. Linda has worked extensively on deals from both the commercial and legal standpoints across various sectors including: consumer, media, industrials and energy. She has worked to provide legal advice and strategic support to founders, fund managers and growth companies operating across Africa and in the United States.
