Dashboard Update: The following enhancements were applied on 2/14/25 based on user feedback*:

  • CDC Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) categorized as High, Medium, and Low is available at the state, county, and zip code levels
  • Hovering over a geographic area reveals a refined vaccination intent breakdown. “Yes” includes those who definitely will or probably will get vaccinated within the next 12 months. “Hesitant” includes those who probably won’t, definitely won’t, or are unsure.
  • The Immunization Outreach page includes the ability to filter by 6 subpopulations based on demographics (Adults 65+ and non-White adults) and intent (adults 18+ who do/do not plan to get vaccinated for flu or COVID-19).
  • Community Summary has been added to synthesize dashboard data into key recommendations for the most effective message, messenger, and medium for each geography and subpopulation.

Map attitudes, behaviors, and barriers to vaccination against COVID-19, influenza (flu), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and pneumococcal disease to create custom messages and resources for specific groups in communities across the US.

The dashboard is intended for stakeholders working to improve vaccination rates across the US. The data was produced using ML/AI predictions based on a large, nationally representative household survey conducted by Fraym in September and October 2024. Demographic data is from the 2022 US Census. Additional information on the data sources and methodology is available in Data Sources & Methods.

The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) has provided funding for this pilot project, which is being conducted in collaboration with the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO).

What’s Included

US Vaccine Uptake Dashboard

The dashboard aims to improve the US adult vaccine uptake by addressing motivation and access barriers to getting vaccinated against COVID-19, flu, RSV, and pneumococcal disease. Users can view health data at the state, county, and zip code level and compare geographies based on intent to get vaccinated.

In the ‘Reports’ section users can access analytics that deliver timely insights based on the latest Fraym data. Additionally, Fraym will continue to populate this area with useful documentation like factsheets and how-to videos.
